Who am I?

My name is Stacia (Stay-shuh) Service. I live on a farm in Wisconsin and work as a designer, primarily in Minneapolis.

In September of 2019, I left the job I loved at an agency in town to spend more time at our new farm. The commute was too much and I was ready to put my agency experience to work out on my own. I’ve worked hard to expand my network and have been busy ever since!

I pride myself on working hard and working fast, resulting in smart designs that are not lacking quality. I hate when good work gets caught up in the clutter of inefficiencies which is why I’ve loved working on my own.

I always strive to create with intention. I believe the best designs are built on a well-developed strategy. When a brand’s personality and plan are clear, the design will come naturally. I enjoy solving problems and rather than rely on design for that purpose, I use design as a tool in that process.

My favorite types of design are illustration, identity system design, website and spatial design. My aesthetic is simple, bold, and geometric. I’ve been told my designs have a “retro vibe, in a good way,” which, as a lover of thrifting and vintage, I take as a big compliment.
